This past summer, Prince Harry decided to spend three weeks in Malawi, Africa, where he helped the Africa Park organization to bring a new reserve to more than 500 elephants with the intention of saving them and raising awareness in the rest of the world about what happens to these beautiful animals.

In the photographs that we bring you, you can see how the Prince Harry helped the volunteers and the veterinarians in different rescue tasks. The following image shows how they were trying to hold a large elephant to which they first launched tranquilizer darts and then transported them to the new reserve.

Prince Harry explained that it was also part of his mission to keep elephant families together. For them, they identified them before transporting them to the new reserve in such a way that they could be released together when they were ready. The spray paint used disappeared in just a few days so that it did not affect their skin or health.

Once he returned to England, Harry told how he met Lawrence Munro in South Africa last year and since then they have kept in touch, which has led him to participate in this project with African Parks. Lawrence is the head of operations for this reserve in Liwonde.

'Help the animals and be so connected with them is an incredible experience 'declared the Prince' We always did what the veterinarian ordered, his health and condition was the priority for us'

This last photo was taken by himself and shows one of the workers helping an elephant to lie down after being stunned with tranquilizers.

Thanks to the great work of this organization and from the volunteers, the elephants are already in their new home safe and sound, completely away from the dangers of wildlife in Africa.

No doubt, after this act, more than one will forget the scandals of the Prince to start treating him like a hero of animals.
