If you thought that Swing was just a thing of the past, then we invite you to delight your eyes with a dance partner formed by William Mauvais and Maeva Truntzer. These two guys could even make you want to try some swing dance classes!
The French couple participated in the European Dance Championship in 2015, where they performed a fun and unforgettable performance for the final phase. In this particular performance, they showed their best Lindy Hop, a dance that originated in Harlem, New York, in the 1920s.
Like the Russian professional dancer Ksenia Parkhatskaya, which leaves viewers in awe with his interpretation of Charleston this dancing duo will keep you entertained from beginning to end.
Mauvais and Truntzer are full of energy as they perfect each movement in the largest and most prestigious dance contest in Europe. (And that includes the most difficult moments, like the lifting of Truntzer's leg around the minute 01:10!)
However, his chemistry on the dance floor is not really a surprise. These two have been dancing together for more than 10 years, according to their website.
"Their ability to remain true to themselves and assume their identity makes them stand out from others," their website says. "These small dancers know for sure how to take you to a world full of talent, [humor]genius and generosity, that they can not wait to share with as many people as possible."
I am waiting for these two to also participate in the next European swing dance championship in London in 2017.
