Today there are many types of art, because as with science or technology, great advances are being made that allow artists to be much more creative and explore new ideas and techniques, and above all take it to reality.
However, it is difficult to make a place in the community, because to make your work stand out from others you have to differentiate and be very original, but with the amount of ideas and artists that exist it is difficult to distinguish of others. Despite this, there are people who get it.
This is the case of Trina Merry, an artist originally from New York that has managed to captivate the whole world with its technique that consists of painting the bodies of its models to camouflage them with cities or landscapes throughout the world.
When capturing photographs it's as if the models disappear completely in front of big icons of cities like The White House, the Golden Bridge or the Central Station.
Merry says that his work is inspired by his own life, as it ensures that it is a reflection or how it affected her life to live in a big city.
For each model, she invests about three hours painting her body, making sure that even the smallest detail is perfectly taken care of and represented.
'I have never felt so alone and exposed as the time I lived in New York. I felt that I could disappear and nobody would know. ' Explains the artist proud of her work
'My work shows those feelings, that experience. I trace and paint the body to show that our bodies adapt to feel identified in a 'tribe' that live in that city and that actually causes us to disappear between them. '
Merry says she felt invisible, like the models in the photographs
'There are people who love the idea, other people hate it, others think I'm a genius, others do not understand it, some people get scared because they're naked and others accept it completely, there's everything . "
" Over time I have learned to face the opinions of others and I have learned not to take it as anything personal because people project themselves in my work. It has nothing to do with me or what I think when I create my art, so I only focus on the responsibility of doing it. "
Without a doubt all his works are impressive.
Do not forget share these amazing photographs with all your friends!
