Bridget is a busy mother who spends all her time working and cares for her two children alone. When it comes to having to repair things that break at home, I used to ask for help from her husband. However, that is something that now is impossible these days …
Recently, Bridget came home dead of cold and realized that the boiler was broken. It's winter in her city, Pennsylvania, and it's too cold for her and her two small children. So she called the repair service in Coraopolis, and the owner Paul agreed to go home to help her get the heat back to her home.
While Paul was trying to repair the boiler, he and Bridget started talking about their lives. She said that normally she would have asked her husband to help her fix it, but now she is on duty and it is impossible. He continued the conversation without giving much importance to what he had just shared.
But when Bridget went to pay Paul for his service, he gave her a bill – with a handwritten note on her. When Bridget read it, she was surprised.
"It's a little long, but I wanted everyone to know it. I arrived home with my two children and began to freeze from the cold. When we tried to turn on the heating we found that the boiler did not work and the world came over because the temperatures on these dates are really low and I did not have the money to buy a new boiler, since it was many years old. I called the repair service, and Paul, the owner answered the call kindly and patiently I was explained several things I could do to try to turn it on again.
However, none of that worked and in the end he told me that it would come to my house to try to repair it. "
"While working in the boiler, we started talking about my husband Bobby and his service in the army. I mentioned in passing that in a normal situation I would have asked my husband for help, but now he was serving in the army and we could not see him, so he did not know what to do about it. Besides, my work schedule just leaves me a few hours free at home, which is what I can dedicate to my children so I can prepare their meals when I pick them up from school. "
"After Paul finished, I was a little worried about what the repair would cost me … However, he gave me the invoice that you can see in the picture above."
When I tried to tell him that I was going to pay him what was necessary, he told me to forget about it, $ 1 was practically a joke, and he appreciated the service my husband was doing for the country as well as all the effort he I went ahead with my children. "
"Many thanks to Paul Betlyn. Thanks to him, my house becomes warm and welcoming to my children again. "
It is good to know that there are such beautiful people in this world, and things like this make us hope for humanity again.
