We live in a society in which we have more and more labels to represent all people and their sexualities. This is partly due to the freedom we feel to be able to express what we like and what we do not. However, a recent study could have shown that no one is heterosexual.
A recent study published by the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology explains that there are no 100% heterosexual people in our society.
Researchers have carried out a study that brought together hundreds of women and men to whom they have asked numerous questions , as well as tests to see their interactions with other people, both homosexuals and heterosexuals.
The study director, Ritch Savin-Williams, explained that one of the features that attracted a lot of attention was the fact that all participants had their pupils dilated when seeing scenes between same-sex names. This is an impulse that can not be controlled and that gives us away.
This study has also shown that a large number of people do not reveal his sexual desires for fear of what they will say and for modesty. For what they live without showing what they really like.
In his statements, Savin-Williams explained that women are more open in these subjects and they have less difficulty speaking it and trying new sexual practices.
Following this study, it has been proposed that sexuality be measured by a spectrum and not by a label as we have done until now. In this way it would be easier and more natural to feel comfortable in today's society, since the definition of each one would not be necessary.
If the terms of the collective are still playing ball, with this video you will understand each and every one of the acronyms of collective LGBTI .
Do you agree with the results of this study? Do you think there are not 100% heterosexual people?
