The Scots may seem distant at first sight, but when you know them, they are the opposite. Their great traditions unite them a lot and they are very open, participative and yes, very, very partying. They grab large pieces of cake, mix orange soda with vodka, add sweet and sour sauce to the potatoes and greet each other with an insult.

1- Pizzas fritas
In case a pizza does not have enough calories per se, it is quite usual for the Scottish fry pizzas before eating them. Probably worth trying but the next day you would regret it.
2- They mix everything constantly
Besides having numerous restaurants where there seems to be no food that not fried, another of his passions is mix all kinds of ingredients, such as chocolate . They add chocolate to all kinds of dishes and although some look good … others we would not taste them.
3- They speak to strangers
Do not misinterpret this facet of the Scots, it does not mean that they talk to any lonely person sitting on a bench in the park but they do they greet when they cross the street and give smiles constants to any stranger.
4- Celebrate everything with a ceilidh
This is what is called their traditional dance that is usually done every time something good happens. It is very important for them to teach this dance in all schools since the children are young.
5- They use Irn Bru for drinks
This is a type of soft drink that is basically orange juice and mixed with all kinds of drinks like vodka.
6- They insult themselves when they say hello but without offenses
Although it might sound impolite and rude, they find it quite normal and common among friends.  7- They use their own sauce for potatoes
No ketchup or mayonnaise, the Scots use a sauce created by them based on salt vinegar and vanilla .
8- They hate everyone who does not drink whiskey alone

9- Celebrate New Year for a week and a piece of coal is the main protagonist
It's a very important party for them and they start it almost a week before. A tradition is to leave the houses open to share drinks with anyone who wants it.
10- Have a day dedicated to each poet
Any ] poet of Scottish origin has a special day marked on the calendar.
11- They put all kinds of foods inside the cakes
As these macaroni and cheese inside pastry dough.
12- They wear skirts without underwear
It is the classic suit that takes to the weddings. Let's hope it's not windy!
13- Cheese with sauce
The Scottish's favorite junk food is not pizza, nor kebabs … it's adding any type of sauce to their cheeses.
